LDN Due privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

LDN Due shows live bus and Tube departures in London. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. We cannot see your location, your searches or your favourites. This policy tells you what data the app uses, where that data goes, and what your rights are.

Who we are

LDN Due is made by Many Many Things Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17253592). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.

In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Many Many Things Ltd. For UK data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data that we receive.

The short version

What the app uses, and why

Your location

The app uses your location only if you allow it, and only while the app is open on your iPhone or Apple Watch. The app asks for your location to an accuracy of about 100 metres.

When you open the Nearby screen, the app sends your location to the TfL API to find bus stops and Tube stations near you. The app also uses your location on your device to show how far away a stop is.

On iPhone, the app also sends your location to Apple Maps to find the name of your area, for example “Lambeth”. The app shows this name at the top of the Nearby screen. The app does this again only after you move more than about 250 metres.

The app does not save your location. It sends your location only to TfL and Apple, and never to us.

You can stop location access at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > LDN Due. The app continues to work without your location, but it cannot show nearby stops.

Your searches

When you search for a stop or station, the app sends your search text to the TfL API to find matches. The app does not save your searches.

The stops that you look at

To show departures, the app sends the stop ID to the TfL API. This happens when you open a stop, and when a widget on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or Apple Watch refreshes. The app keeps the last departures for each stop on your device, so that widgets can show them when you are offline.

Your favourites and settings

Your favourites and settings (time format, search radius and night bus filter) are saved on your device. The app shares them with its widgets on the same device.

If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs your favourites between your devices. Apple keeps this data in your iCloud account under Apple’s privacy policy. We cannot see it.

If you have an Apple Watch, the app sends your favourites and settings directly from your iPhone to your paired watch.

Why we can use this data

UK data protection law requires a lawful basis. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in giving you the service that you ask for: stops and departures near you, or for the stop that you choose. The app uses only the data that it needs for this. You control location access with the permission settings on your device.

Who receives your data

Transport for London

All live travel data comes from the TfL API. Each request goes directly from your device to TfL. Like all internet requests, each request includes your IP address and basic technical data, for example the type of device. The requests do not include your name, your Apple ID or any ID that connects them to you.

TfL is a separate controller of the data that it receives. TfL uses it under its own privacy policy. LDN Due is not affiliated with TfL.

Apple

Apple provides the App Store, iCloud, Apple Maps and the operating system.

On iPhone, the app sends your location to Apple Maps to find your area name. Apple does not connect this request to your Apple ID. Apple uses it under its Apple Maps privacy policy.

If you agree to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple sends us crash reports and usage statistics. Apple does not identify you in this data. We use it only to find and repair problems in the app. To stop this, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements and turn off “Share with App Developers”.

If you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to help you with your question. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you. Our email providers, Proton and Google, process these emails for us.

No one else

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

What the app does not do

How long data is kept

Data outside the UK

TfL is in the UK. Apple, Google and our other providers can process data outside the UK. When they do this, they use protections that UK law approves, for example the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

Security

All connections from the app to TfL use encryption (HTTPS). Your favourites and settings are protected by your device and by your iCloud account.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

We do not keep data from the app, so you control most of it yourself. To delete your favourites, remove them in the app. To delete all app data from a device, delete the app. To delete synced favourites, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage on your iPhone.

To use a right for data that we hold, for example your emails, contact us. We will reply within one month.

For data that TfL or Apple holds, contact them directly.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we use your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

LDN Due is for a general audience. It has no account and does not ask for your age or your name. The app uses data in the same way for all users, as this policy describes.

This website

This website does not use cookies or analytics. Cloudflare hosts the website, and Google Fonts supplies the fonts. To deliver the pages and fonts to you, they receive your IP address and basic technical data under their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app uses data, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the app’s release notes.
